Hi Everyone! As you know, the Governor has allowed for us to gradually get back to seeing patients! With this new order, there will be some changes to our schedule, procedures, and protocols! We know that everyone is eager to get caught up with their adjustments and hoping to get their braces on or off, and we are very excited to see you all, but please bare with us. You are welcome to call in to schedule your appointment!
During our time away from the office, Dr. Ben has been working very hard to make sure that we have the enhanced PPE needed to keep our staff and patients safe, as well as installed new structural barriers. This is very important because we want to make sure that all of our patients, staff and families stay healthy! This new PPE update means we will probably look a little different the next time you see us! But don’t be afraid! We are still the same friendly people and we are excited to see you and help you achieve your beautiful, healthy smiles!
When you arrive at our office, you will meet with our greeter at our front entrance screening station. She will make sure that you’ve signed your COVID-19 Consent Form, and she will also take your temperature and ask you several questions to make sure that it is safe for you to be seen! If you or a family member has been sick or in close proximity to someone who is sick or running a fever in the past 48 hours, please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Next you will enter our office and wash your hands and then head into the clinic for your appointment! We will begin with a special rinse to help reduce the amount of bacteria in your mouth. From there we will complete your appointment like usual! Once we are finished, we will escort you to the exit and update parents back at the car! Future appointments will be scheduled chair side at the end of the appointment by the patient or a parent can call in to schedule!
Parents please accompany your child to the screening station to help complete their screening, and then we ask that you return to your car during the appointment. This will help minimize the amount of people in the building and help promote social distancing. If your child isn’t comfortable being seen alone, an adult may accompany them, but we ask that you please bring and wear a mask.
To minimize the spread of germs, brushing sinks are now hand washing stations so please brush and floss at home prior to your appointment.
Our team is stronger than ever and ready to get back to work! Things will be a little different than we are used to but we will rise to the challenge and take care of our patients!
Together we create health smiles!
Thank you all for your patience and support during this time! We will continue to get through this together! Stay healthy, stay home if you don’t feel well, brush your teeth, wash your hands, and keep smiling! 😁
If you haven’t done so already, please complete your COVID-19 Consent Form on our website:
